If you plan on taking a road trip this summer, don't forget to bring your I-PASS because it is now good in seventeen states.

Traveling With Your Family Over The Summer

I remember growing up, every summer my family would hit the road for a vacation.

We traveled all over the United States. It was a great adventure.

It is gotten a lot more expensive to get away, so saving money is key if you are going to do it.

Don't Forget Your I-PASS

Well, if you are taking off across the country this year, don't forget your I-PASS. It is now good in 17 different states including E-ZPASS roads. Check HERE to find out which states.

From the I-PASS Twitter page...

Then you do not have to pay the full price for tolls. Plus, there are no more manual places to pay for your fees on the toll roads anymore.

Whenever you can save money, no matter how little, it is a good thing.

What If You Do Not Have An I-PASS

If you rarely travel on the tollway and do not own an I-PASS, there is something else I recommend doing. That is to pay for your tolls in advance.

It is called "pay by plate." That gives you a couple of options. You can pay in advance. There is paying after the fact where the state gives you fourteen days to take care of a violation.

More all that information, HERE.

Enjoy your summer vacation.
