Don’t forget to give Blood On Black Friday Rockford

Rock River Valley Blood Center and Home Depot have teamed up for Black Friday to make it a little easier to save a life. There will be a mobile blood drive going on at Home Depot's Perryville road location in Rockford and West Lane road store  in Machesney Park from 10am to 2pm. they will also be giving out Buffalo Wild Wings coupons while supplies last to donors.

We all get so busy this time of year with shopping and planning that sometimes we forget that blood donations are always needed and by donating you can help someone receive a life saving transfusion. We know it's the busiest shopping day of the year but your donation will take less than an hour. In that one hour you can save someone's life.

Rock River Valley Blood Center is the only organization in Rockford that supplies blood here as well as Belvidere, Rochelle, Beloit, Freeport and Edgerton and now more than ever they need your help. If you can't make it on Friday you can always walk in to one of Rock River Valley's Blood Centers and donate but they do recommend that you make an appointment by calling 815-965-8751.
