Dollar General is planning on adding over 500 more jobs to the Janesville area with the proposed building of a new warehouse.

Jobs are hard to come by nowadays and with the prospect of over 500 new jobs coming to the Janesville is really exciting.

WIFR reports that the discount store chain Dollar General wants to build a $70 million warehouse in Janesville that could bring hundreds of jobs to the area.

The warehouse is to be built "near the intersection of Route 11 and County Road G and is expected to create 552 jobs. It's expected to be completed by the end of 2016."

Janesville's Economic Development Director Gail Price says that "having Dollar General's presence should create millions of dollars for the local economy and employee salaries will add more than 17 million."

Now that is a lot cash and jobs for the area. This is really exciting.

I hope that all go according to plan and this warehouse is established.
