In light of how police have been looked at lately in the news, the Dixon police department is out to change that perception with twitter.

Wow! That's a pretty cool way to connect to the community and to show the lighter side of life. I love how they incorporate kids doing the right thing and reward them for it too.

What a great way to build up trust and a positive relationship between kids and the police department.
