Disney Officially Bans Selfie-Sticks in Their Theme Parks
Planning a vacation to the "happiest place on Earth" anytime soon? Better leave your selfie-stick at home, or at least in your hotel room.
What was once a rumor, has now been confirmed by a Disney spokesperson; selfie-sticks are banned at Disney theme parks.
It's not that Mickey and company don't appreciate a good selfie of you having a blast in their park, they just don't appreciate someone doing something incredibly stupid like this...
I'm sorry, but you've got to be some kind of stupid to think that hanging a stick out past the side clearance of a moving ride is a good idea. Sure, the moment might make for a cool selfie, but it may be photobombed by the people behind you getting injured by flying pieces of your broken selfie-stick. Use your head people, and be considerate of others! Disney, I applaud you for this.
