Here's the truth; I'm a huge wimp when it comes to anything haunted. Ghost stories, scary strories, murder, mayhem, and haunting stories all completely freak me out.

I won't watch scary movies, and I definitely won't go anywhere on, or near, Bloods Point Road in Kirkland, Illinois.

I will, however, tell you about the piece of news that gave me a major case of the willies this morning.

According to the Rockford Register Star, on Sunday at about 2 a.m., this house at 3070 Bloods Point Road burned completely to the ground....after it had been vacant for years. 😲😲😲😨😨

In recent years this home has been a playground for vandals, likely because of the haunted stories that surround it, and last week a Lime Bike was spotted on the roof of it according to the RRStar.

Are ghosts riding Lime Bikes around rural Boone County now? Not likely, but neighbors have gone on record saying they wanted this abandoned, eyesore of a home razed.

Well, I guess they got their wish. The home is gone now, but the questions remains; who is responsible?
