The Chicago Cubs have announced that they will roll up their sleeves and help collect money for the Fairdale and Rochelle tornado families this Tuesday night. Details here.

Headed to the game Tuesday at Wrigley Field between the Cubs vs. Reds? Watch for Cubs associates. They will be collect monetary donations at the gates before the game. Proceeds from Tuesday's Cubs Charities 50/50 raffle will also benefit tornado victims in Fairdale, Rochelle and other impacted communities according to MyStateline.com.

Money raised will benefit the Illinois Tornado Relief Effort to support nonprofit agencies providing disaster relief and recovery efforts to those communities hit hardest by last Thursday's tornadoes.

Fans who cannot attend the game but would like to make a donation to the tornado disaster relief effort through the Cubs can do so through Sunday by visiting Cubs.com/give.

Now if the Cubs cam pull off a win, it would be a great day for the entire Cub Nation.
