Sad news to report. Country musician Kevin Sharp, has died at the age of 43. Kevin, who you might recall, fought a well-publicized battle with cancer in the 1990s prior to hitting the tops of the country music charts with hit song you heard on Q98.5 called "Nobody Knows".

He passed away last night (April 19) due to ongoing complications from past stomach surgeries and digestive issues, according to his website. Kevin suffered from had Ewing’s sarcoma which is a form of blood cancer. He was given slim odds of recovery and went through two years of chemotherapy and radiation treatments, permanently losing his hair as a result. It was during this time that he met famous producer David Foster, with whom he developed a strong friendship. In the mid 1990's, he received a recording contract with Asylum Records in Nashville.
