After the blockbuster success of “Buy Me a Boat,” as well as his most recent single, "Power of Positive Drinkin'," Chris Janson has released “Holdin’ Her” to radio as his next single.

The third cut from Janson's Buy Me a Boat album, “Holdin’ Her” was written “for an audience of one”: his wife.

"Holdin her, it’s like peace on earth / Where time stands still, and love’s the only thing that I feel," Janson sings in the song's chorus. "When she’s in my arms, no matter where we are / Well, I am right at home when I’m holdin’ her.”

""Holdin' Her" is my favorite song -- my No. 1 favorite,” Janson says in a release. “It's an absolute true story, from start to finish. It's the story of the things that I love most: my wife and my kids and my journey in life.

"If anyone wants a real look inside my life, here it is," he adds. "Out of all the songs I've ever written, "Holdin' Her" is the one song that I have always wanted to hear on the radio.”

Janson has always been upfront about the importance of his wife and family.

“I do everything with my wife. We do everything together. We do everything with our kids, too. We’re a very family-oriented family,” Janson told The Boot in February. “That de-stresses me. As much as kids and life can stress you out and just become so much and so quick some days, it’s ironically the most de-stressing thing I have in my life, and it’s what I do to decompress, and that’s why I’m around them all the time.”
