As many parents are waking up this morning to get their children ready for school, one parent in Dekalb is searching for theirs.

According to WIFR, Dekalb Police are searching for 2-year-old Caprice McCollum.

Caprice was last seen wearing blue Paw Patrol pajamas and could be with a man by the name of Tywan Locke. Locke is described a black male, about 5'9"; weighing around 200 pounds and he was last seen wearing a blue coat that says "Chicago."

In a related story, the Stephenson County Sheriff's department is searching for a suspect in an attempted abduction that took place on March 18th in Cedarville.

Officials say employees at the mobile gas station thwarted the attempt as it was happening inside the store.

Surveillance video shows a man trying to lure a 13-year-old boy into his truck. The store employees were able to prevent this from happening and called authorities.

Police are now trying to identify the suspect, who was driving a smaller white pickup truck with a silver tool box in the back.
