When my husband and I got married in 2010 we gave our guests a "hope" bracelet to symbolize the donation we made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of our special day and the people we love. That favor is one of my favorite parts of our wedding, but it pales in comparison to what this Chicago couple is doing with their wedding day.

Chicago natives Caleb Remington and Tiffany Au are getting married on May 5, 2018 in Los Angeles, but it will be far from an ordinary wedding. They are calling it the "Greatest Wedding Ever Donated", and they're hoping to raise $500,000 to split between five different charities.

What an amazing thing to do, right? Sadly, the couple's inspiration to do this stems from the heartbreaking odds their new future together is up against; Caleb has only about 10 more years to live.

So far, Caleb and Tiffany's story has inspired people all across the country to donate over $15,000 to their cause, but they have a long way to go to hit their goal. The couple will be splitting the money between charities that help low-income families, education, mental health, rare diseases, and of course, cystic fibrosis.
