Cheater: Man Violates Carpool Lane With “Most Interesting Man in the World” in his Passenger Seat [Photo]
Well, at least you got to give this guy credit for creativity.
In Illinois, we don't have carpool lanes, yet, but in the state of Washington they do. The rule is, you must have two or more passengers in your vehicle to travel in the HOV lane.
ABC news reports that a Washington State Patrol trooper pulled over the driver on March 23 on Intestate 5, close to the City of Fife, Washington. The Officer spotted a cardboard cut-out of actor Jonathan Goldsmith, who is widely known from the Dos Equis beer commercials as "The Most Interesting Man in the World".
State Patrol Information Officer Guy Gill told ABC news:
"He couldn't have used a more recognizable face, the trooper and the driver had a good laugh about it but he was cited anyway... Our trooper gave him a $124 ticket for violating HOV lane laws
