The vehicle belonging to a missing Loves Park woman was found in the Rock River in Roscoe late Sunday evening.

WIFR-TV is reporting that a car was located in the Rock River in the 9800 block of Fantail Place, near the corner of  251 and McDonald Rd, after residents called Harlem-Fire Rescue to report a car antenna sticking out of the water, in the Rock River, behind their home.

Loves Park Police have confirmed that the car found in the Rock River Sunday is Emily Anderson's car, however, Winnebago County Coroner Bill Hintz says, at the moment, it is unknown if the body inside the submerged vehicle, is that of Emily Anderson. An autopsy will take place on Tuesday, where dental records will be used to identify the body

Emily Anderson has been missing since the middle of June, the public and the police have been searching for Emily for over three months.

Police did not any further information at this time .
