Near Vertical Take-Off Coming Soon, Boeing 787 Dreamliner [Watch]

A near vertical take-off for a passenger jet? You bet!

When the flight attendant says "fasten your seat belts", you better do it! This plane takes off at a 90 degree angle.

The Boeing company has announced the 787-9 Dreamliner. The thing that everyone in the aviation industry is taking about is the steep angle the plane takes as it lift off the ground.

In the just released Boeing promotional video you can see the Dreamliner take-off by almost immediately traveling perpendicular to the ground. Then, within a few seconds the plane levels. Further along in the video the aircraft performs some impressive turns and twists.

Boeing says that new Dreamliner uses less fuel as well.

This could make flying a bit more exciting!
