A body was found in the Rock River yesterday, Monday, October 22 and was just identified as male this morning.

While there isn't much other new information about who the victim might be, or what caused him to end up in the Rock River, Eyewitness News is reporting that the body was indeed male.

According to Eyewitness News, 'A body pulled from the Rock River on Monday near Beltline Road and S. Main Street has been identified as that of a male, according to the Winnebago County Coroner's Office.'
