High flying fun and heart pounding action is about to hit the Stateline! Get your cameras ready for The BMX Midwest Nationals Competition. All of the fun rolls into Rockford this weekend bringing an economic boost for the Stateline and family fun. Here's how you can see all the excitement.

Rockford BMX will host the 2014 USA BMX Midwest Nationals this Friday through Sunday, June 27-29. Over 1,500 pro and amateur racers will compete for national rankings at Searls Park BMX Track, 4950 Safford Road, Rockford, Illinois.

The racing begins Friday at 5pm with a 'Double-Point' race. Opening ceremonies are on Saturday, June 28 at 11:30 a.m. with racing all day long. The action picks up again on Sunday, June 29, starting at 8:00 a.m.

General parking is $10/day, $25/weekend and motorhome parking is $50/weekend; competitors' registration fees are available at www.rockfordbmx.com

Get ready Rockford to welcome close to 6,000 visitors from all over the world for the weekend. Competitors from all over the world, as far as Australia, Canada and Mexico, will be in our city for the fun.
