The Rockford Ice Hogs will be gaining a familiar face.

Brian Bickell has been bumped back to Rockford.

WGN reports that the team announced on Sunday that they are reassigning their forward to Rockford.

Although, that's somewhat bad news for the Blackhawks, that's good news for the Icehogs to gain some more.

Bickell has registered two assists in 23 games with the Blackhawks this season. However, he recorded seven goals and seven assists through 12 games with Rockford.

I certainly hope this stint for Bickell won't be long and he can get out this points slump and get his game back on. He's a great player but sometimes we all need to step back and re-calibrate.

According to Icehogs.com, we'll get to see Bickell in action today as the Icehogs take on the Lake Erie Monsters at 1:00pm at the BMO Harris Bank Center. For tickets information, click here.
