Backstage Adventures of The Wake Up Crew with The Band Perry

As you know The Band Perry rocked the BMO Harris Bank Center last night, but before show time they were kind enough to invite Steve Summers, Jonny J, and myself backstage to get some things signed for St. Jude, and well...we took full advantage of it.

They had a mini bar set up with plenty of Jack, beer, wine, and snacks. They told us to help ourselves. So we did. This morning they might wish they had never said that...and so do we.

They had a very "Americana" atmosphere set up which we loved.  Felt very homey.  So we made ourselves at home while we enjoyed our beverages.

Dang that couch was comfortable. We decided we needed to rest up a bit so we would be ready for the big show.

Then Kimberly, Neil, and Reed came in and woke us up. It was a little embarrassing, but they understood.  We get up early in the morning and needed a little cat nap. We talked a lot about St. Jude. We traded stories about our experiences at St. Jude and why we love it so much. They told us their Dad is a pediatrician in Tennessee and has 2 patients being treated at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital right now. They truly are an amazing family! They signed this shirt for us that you could win coming up during the St. Jude Kids radiothon on Thursday, March 6th and Friday, March 7th!

We were then off to enjoy their amazing show. Thanks to The Band Perry for such amazing hospitality, and for loving this stuff as much as we do. We were so honored to spend a moment in time with them, and can't wait to do it again!
