Avocados.. A Weight Loss Secret??
I don't know about you but I love avocados. To me they are a 'buttery goodness'. Whether they're mixed into guacamole or sliced up plain on toast with a sprinkle of salt. I could eat them every day with no problem.
Now I have even more of a reason to enjoy their creamy texture. According to a "study from Loma Linda University, they 'found' that overweight people who add a 1/2 of a fresh avocado during lunch can satisfy their food cravings."
"Study Leader Dr. Joan Sabat said " an avocado can be substituted for another food or simply added to the meal in over for overweight people to feel fuller. What's more their desire to snack before dinner is reduced by 40% three hours after lunch and 28% after five hours."
Hmm,I think it's time for me to hit the grocery store and load up on those delectable green goodies.
