File this under "Things You Never Want To Experience" because it's real and it would suck. Imagine driving down the road and (snap) your steering wheel comes off. Umm no, thank you. Unfortunately, this is a real thing. Just ask Ford.

Two of Ford's major models are part of the recall and at least one injury may be linked to a steering wheel coming off in one of their vehicles. Steer clear of every edition of 2018-2014 Ford Fusions and the Lincoln MKZs. All jokes aside, steering wheels in these two models have had issues with steering wheels becoming loose or even falling off.

According to CNN,

Ford (F) said the problem is that a steering wheel bolt could come loose, which could cause the steering wheel to potentially detach.

Contact your dealership or warranty provider if you own or are leasing one of these vehicles.
