This is so cool. Area restaurants reached out to the displaced and former employees of the decimated Grubsteakers restaurant in Kings with a job fair.

WREX reported that area restaurants here in Rockford. Old Chicago and Lunch Cantina, as well as The Cave in Byron have reached out to offer employment to employees of the former Grubsteakers restaurant in Kings, IL.

Grubsteakers if you remember was completely demolished in last week's tornado. Leaving those employees out of jobs until the restaurant is rebuilt.

Josh Binning, owner of Luncha Cantina told WREX, "Here's these people who were displaced from a restaurant and how can we find the people who are really hurting and who don't have a paycheck now. How can we find work for them?... My goal is that every single person that wants a job gets one."

Wow! Just another great story coming from the ashes of last week's horrific tornado. It's just proves that our community spirit to reach out to the hurting is stateline strong.
