All summer long we've been reading story after story about how people aren't taking a vacation this year because they can't afford it. Or, how parents are going to be spending an average of $501 per child to send them back to school.

If you're one of those people who will be taking a staycation because of lack of funds or you panicked a little just seeing how much it might cost to get your child ready for the upcoming school year, maybe this could help- a job with Apple.

According to TMJ4's "Don't Waste Your Money" blog, Apple is hiring people to work from home as AppleCare advisors.

Do you have the following?

  • Customer service experience
  • A minimum of two years of technical troubleshooting experience
  • A flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • 5-6 weeks for training
  • Can you talk and type at the same time? Preferably 40 words per minute.
  • High speed internet
  • A very quiet work space

If you answered "yes" to all of the above, then you can apply from anywhere here.

The perks don't sound too bad either. The pay is $9-$12 per hour and you get a discount on Apple products like iPhones, iPads, iPods and Apple watches.

Not too shabby if you're just looking for some extra income.
