Another Illinois school was threatened to be shot up. Thankfully an arrest was made.

WGN reports that Plainfield Central High School received a threat that the school would be shot up.

The school reported the threat to the police and an arrest was been made.

The student "admitted to making those statements. He did not have a weapon when he was arrested. He’s now charged with a felony for disorderly conduct."

I'm glad the threat was taken serious and that nothing terrible happened. I honestly hope this student understands that what they did isn't funny and threats to harm others is a serious offense. I hope they don't try to do something like this again.

What is going on with kids these days?

Is this a rash of "Me too" in the school shootings? Or is this something that's been going on and now, in the wake of the Parkland, Florida shootings, threats are being taken serious?

It's really disturbing to me.
