This month of June is known as "Adopt A Cat"month.

The Winnebago County animal Services is offering a great deal on a new furry feline for your home at half the cost.

If you've been on the fence about whether to get a cat or not, let this be the final push to get you to go all in getting a furry little friend, who I think, will make you life complete.

Shelter cats and dogs are the best animals to get in my book, I think it;s because they know and understand what loneliness is like, they know what it's like to sit and wait and be patient waiting for the right one. The get just get it when you feel down.

Hey, my cat Millie was a stray found in a box on a cold February day six years ago, she's been my constant companion ever since. I wouldn't change a thing.

So if you're interested in getting a lovable fur-ever friend. I suggest paying a visit to the WCAS this month.

WIFR reports that the cost to adopt an adult cat or dog will be half the usual cost. Cats $20 and Dogs $55. The fee also includes: "rabies shots, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and a microchip.t"

The half priced adoptions started yesterday, June 1st and will run for the next two and half weeks.
