We've all heard the saying "and a little child shall lead them".

Nothing is more truer than what South Beloit nine year old, Melanie Weber, is doing to help the victims of the April 9th tornado.

When Melanie Weber heard what had happened to the towns of Fairdale and Rochelle, she wanted to do something. In fact she asked her Dad to drive her to down to help volunteer, but the towns already had enough help.

She didn't let that deter her, she came up with "Coins for Fairdale and Rochelle". She's made posters and decorated cans to collect loose change for the victims which then she will donate to the Rochelle Foundation's Disaster Relief Fund this Wednesday.
