I love the 4th of July with the fireworks, family and fun.

Sometimes having parties can get a little expensive. If your budget is a little tight this year. There's no need to skip celebrating our nation's birthday.

Check this list out for the 9 Cheap ways to celebrate the 4th.

According to U.S. News and World Report's list you should have your dinner potluck style.

Well that's a no brainer for my family. We always do that. My Mom however, will outdo all of us and bring more than enough dishes. Never fails.

I particularly though tip #4 was helpful in the beverage area. Making different types of Sangria that were red, white and blue themed. Sounds super yummy.

Having a pitcher of iced tea and lemonade would be helpful too. If your guests don't like those, ask them to bring their favorite beverage.

Tip #8 was interesting. I've never thought about renting a house or apartment when traveling instead of hotels. I'll keep those websites of Airbnb.com or VRBO.com handy for future use.

See, who says in order to have a great time it has to be expensive. It doesn't need to be.
