61-Year-Old Rockford Man Stabbed to Death Sunday Night

According to WREX, Sunday night before 9 pm, Police were called to the 3500 block of Fawnridge drive due to reports of a fight. When they arrived they found that the victim suffered from stab wounds.

The 61-year-old man who has not been named yet was found dead at the scene. The incident is currently under investigation and they have a suspect in custody by the name of Jerry Saylor, a Rockford local who is being held in the Winnebago County jail. The investigation is still ongoing and at this time they have not revealed the victim's name. More information is not yet available.
