So I had my first teary eyed "your growing up too fast" parent moment the other day as I packed away literally half of Ella's clothing she is now too big for.

It seems like just yesterday that we brought her home from the hospital and put her in my favorite newborn sleeper. That sleeper is now in a shadow box display along with her other hospital memorabilia like her hospital bracelet, her cute little hat, and her first picture. Dang it. Why do they grow up so fast? It makes me teary, and a bit irritated.

I'm not irritated because Ella is learning something new, and showing us more of her personality every single day. I am irritated because of the amount of money I just packed away in boxes. These outfits are adorable, and were gifts from the people I love most in the world. Ella only wore them a few times before she outgrew them. Yes, I knew this was going to happen. I just didn't realize how much it would annoy me.

Which brings me to the point of this post. I recently found this list of 5 things you should always buy used, and I can totally relate. I never used to shop garage sales. I am now changing my tune. If you are having a sale with baby girl clothes, you will most likely see me there.
