Blake Shelton has been revealed as a performer for the 2017 People's Choice Awards. His performance comes on what could be a very big night for the country singer.

Shelton is nominated in three categories, including two all-genre categories. He's once again up for Favorite Male Country Artist, an award he won in 2016. In addition, Shelton was nominated for Favorite Male Artist along with Drake, Justin Timberlake, the Weeknd and Shawn Mendes, and Favorite Album alongside albums by Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Beyonce and Drake. His television show The Voice is also up for Favorite Competition TV show.

Fifth Harmony is another 2017 People's Choice Awards performer. The show starts at 9PM ET on Jan. 18 and is broadcast live on CBS from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Joel McHale will host the People's Choice Awards and as of now, Shelton is the only country name set to appear; however, that could change. Carrie Underwood, Dolly Parton, Miranda Lambert and Florida Georgia Line are some of the other major country names nominated in country categories. Voting ended on Dec. 15, 2016.

Shelton is enjoying a break from the road and television right now, but is preparing to begin the Doing It to Country Songs Tour with RaeLynn and Sundance Head on Feb. 16. Head — the Season 11 winner of The Voice — was just recently announced as one of Shelton's opening acts. An initial batch of dates included 13 shows, many of which are in western states.
